Altar Cabin

This project consists of a compact and cozy chalet, featuring a bedroom, living room, kitchen, bathroom, and an outdoor deck. The mixed structure, combining metal and wood, provides lightness, strength, and a more efficient construction process.

The chalet was developed with the off-site construction concept, a building method that optimizes timelines, reduces waste, and minimizes environmental impact, as most of the fabrication takes place in a controlled environment before being installed at the final location.

From the outset, the project's goal was to ensure integration with nature, both visually and functionally. Large glass openings allow abundant natural light and create a seamless connection between the indoor spaces and the surrounding landscape. The predominant use of wood enhances the sense of warmth and harmony with the environment, creating a comfortable and sustainable retreat.
